Howard Mintz has worked in unclaimed property, ownership research, and asset recovery since 1997. After beginning his career in the unclaimed property industry and later working in equity derivatives on Wall Street, he founded Fletcher Recovery Group in 2008.
His work focuses on determining ownership, locating owners and heirs, resolving documentary deficiencies, and assembling the records required to recover dormant or unclaimed assets. These matters frequently involve estates, fiduciaries, historical ownership questions, genealogical research, and records drawn from multiple jurisdictions.
Howard works directly with property owners, heirs, attorneys, financial institutions, government agencies, and other professionals involved in the recovery process. He oversees the firm's research and documentation with an emphasis on accuracy, discretion, and clear communication.

General Counsel
Sassan Achtchi serves as General Counsel to Fletcher Recovery Group. He advises the firm on legal matters affecting recovery, documentation, ownership, and the presentation of claims.
His background includes civil litigation and representation in matters requiring careful analysis of legal rights, supporting records, and procedural requirements. He has worked with Fletcher Recovery Group since 2015.
Sassan earned his law degree from the Florida State University College of Law and is admitted to practice in Florida and in federal court.
