Howard Mintz

President

Mr. Mintz is the founder of the Fletcher Recovery Group.

He got his start in unclaimed property in 1997 working as a researcher with Equisearch Services, a company that specialized in providing unclaimed property services to SEC compliant corporations.  

He spent several years working on Wall Street pricing and trading equity derivative financial instruments.  Then he partnered with Jaisan Inc, a provider of unclaimed property services to commercial retail banks. 

In 2008, taking with him over a decade of experience in unclaimed property and a rapidly evolving vision, he set off on his own and founded the Fletcher Recovery Group. 

Mr. Mintz is a licensed private investigator in the States of Arizona, Colorado, Illinois and Texas.

Alex Coelho

Executive Vice President

Mr. Coelho stepped into the world of unclaimed property in 2004, as an account executive with Jaisan Inc, a provider of unclaimed property services to the retail banking industry.

In 2009, Mr. Coelho moved on to Venio LLC, a company that resulted from the merger of Jaisan Inc and SMS Group LLC.  At Venio he managed and guided a team of 10 account executives with gross asset recoveries exceeding 1 billion dollars. 

Mr. Coelho is a licensed private investigator in the States of Florida and Minnesota.

Just prior to another merger between Venio and Keane, an unclaimed property compliance organization, he joined the Fletcher Recovery Group.

SASSAN ACHTCHI

General Counsel

Mr. Achtchi began his legal career as a civil litigator representing individuals in matters of employment law and civil rights violations in both state and federal courts.  A graduate of the Florida State University College of Law, Mr. Achtchi, while in attendance there, served as a Certified Legal Intern with the Public Defender for the Second Judicial Circuit in Tallahassee, Florida.  Mr. Achtchi graduated from law school with honors, and was inducted as a member of the Phi Delta Phi International Legal Honor Society, Ladd Inn.

As a litigator, Mr. Achtchi worked to secure hundreds of favorable outcomes for his clients, with settlements and judgments in excess of $10M.  Mr. Achtchi also teaches at the undergraduate level as an adjunct instructor of business and criminal law.

Mr. Achtchi joined Fletcher as its general counsel in 2015.  Equipped with extensive experience in prosecuting civil cases against both governmental entities and corporations, Mr. Achtchi brings with him his continued dedication to equity and accountability.

Mr. Achtchi resides in Tallahassee, Florida and is licensed to practice law in the State of Florida. He has also been admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida, The United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
