FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS I have never heard of the Fletcher Recovery Group, is this some sort of scam? Our company offers a legitimate recovery service. The best way that we can legitimize our service is by working for a contingent fee of the assets we recover. We will never ask you to advance us any money or provide us with your financial information. There are no hidden fees or liabilities for you to incur. If you have been contacted by us, we have located funds that belong to you and we would like to assist in their recovery. How much will this cost me? Our fee arrangement is entirely contingent and will generally range from 10% to 30% of the assets recovered. The fee percentage will depend upon the relevant statutes and the complexity of the recovery. Our service does not cost any money out of your pocket and there is no upfront retainer fee. We advance all expenses during the recovery process and we are only paid out of the assets we recover. How did you locate me? Our team of researchers investigates public and proprietary sources of information. We may have simply looked you up in the telephone book; or we may have searched court records, property deeds, historical archives, or research libraries; in some instances we may have researched several generations to determine your entitlement to the funds. How can there be lost assets that belong to me? If you have ever moved, changed names (marriage), or changed jobs, you may have lost assets. If you have ever owned an insurance policy, bank account or stock certificate, you may have lost assets. Your mail may have not been delivered; you may have forgotten to deposit a check or to tender in a stock certificate. There are an increasing number of ways that your assets may have been lost. If the money belongs to me, why hasn’t it been give to me? The holder of the funds is not required to conduct any further searches to identify your whereabouts or your entitlement. The amount of time that has passed since your money was lost, has deferred all responsibility away from the holder. Why can’t I just get the money myself? In some instances you may be able to process a claim on your own. However, due to the complexity of the claim process, most people would prefer to allow the Fletcher Recovery Group to handle the claim for a reasonable contingent fee. We have already located the funds, we prepare all of the paperwork, we accumulate all of the supporting documentation, and we ensure proper follow up. We do all of the work for you. How long will this take? Generally most claims will take approximately three to six months. In some rare instances, claims may take as long as eighteen months. It is always difficult to gauge the length of the recovery in advance; however, we always keep you updated on the progress of your claim. Are there any hidden fees or out of pocket costs to me? NO. There are no hidden fees or out of pocket costs. We are only paid out of the recovered funds. Are you going to share my information with anyone? NO. We adhere to a very strict privacy policy. We only disclose Personal Information to Third Parties as necessary to successfully recover the unclaimed assets. We do not share Personal Information for marketing purposes. We take the security of your data seriously. We make our best efforts to ensure data security on our systems. The servers we store Personal Information on are kept in a secure physical environment. We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect Personal Information submitted to us. We aim to keep our information about you as accurate as possible and to use your Personal Information only as directed.
